Bikes, kayaks and scuba gear

  • Register oversized items and equipment with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) 24 hours before you travel. That way you come back into the U.S. quickly and without paying duty on your own gear.
  • Pack each item securely and label it with your full name, address and phone number.
  • Every checked item must travel with a passenger who has a boarding pass.
  • Items not collected on arrival are kept for 30 days and then disposed of.

Coolers

A cooler is not included in the ticket. It is checked at the luggage desk as extra luggage and charged by size and weight. A cooler that is too big is treated as cargo and cannot travel with you that day.

Pack smart for a day trip

On a day trip you spend about 6 to 7 hours on the island, so the free bag is enough: passport, sunscreen, swimsuit, towel and a change of clothes. You cannot bring your own food or drinks on board, but there is a cafeteria. See what you cannot bring.
