Flex or Basic? Bahamas ferry fare types and their conditions
There are two kinds of fare conditions. Flex costs more but you can cancel with a refund (in full 7 or more days before departure) and change the date with no fee. Basic, Day Trip and promotional fares are cheaper, but they cannot be refunded and each date change costs $75 plus any fare difference. Choose Flex if your plans may change.

Rules for every fare
- Your booking is valid to travel for up to 1 year from the booking date. Any change must be requested at least 24 hours before your original departure.
- Tickets are personal and cannot be transferred to someone else.
- If you do not show up or arrive after the doors close, you lose the ticket: no refund and no date change.
- If the ferry company cancels the trip (for example, for weather), the ticket is refunded.
- You pay the full price when you book. A service fee and, depending on the card, a payment surcharge may apply; both are shown before you pay.
Which fare should I choose?
- Flex: you are not sure of your date, you travel with family, or you book far ahead.
- Basic or Day Trip: your date is fixed and you want the lowest price.
